About Michele

Michele Cassidy, J.D., LL.M. has been practicing law for over 20 years. She opened her own firm in 2010 specializing in Elder Law and Estate Planning.  Prior to Cassidy Law Firm, Michele was an Associate at Bress Law Firm. She has also worked at the top-tier New York City law firm, Rogers & Wells, as a litigation associate before directing her practice to the field of Elder Law and Estate Planning. She has also worked at several invest­ment banks as in-house counsel.

A graduate of Albany Law School, Michele was an Editor of the Albany Law Review. She  earned an LL.M. in Elder Law and Estate Planning from Western New England University.

Michele serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law in the LL.M. program at Western New England University School of Law, where she teaches Legal Capacity, Advanced Directives and Guardianship. She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Elder Law and Trusts and Estates Sections of the New York State Bar Association, the Central Westchester Geriatric Committee, the Northern Westchester Geriatric Committee, the Long Term Care Council, and the Westchester Women’s Bar Association.
